This award recognizes the importance of this work at WSU, and in the broader community. It seeks to recognize the labor, the theorizing, the “freedom dreams,” and the activism that fights for justice each and every day. It seeks to recognize the efforts of students to bridge the classroom to the community, to effect change, and to fulfill the promises of our communities.
