Tutoring Support in Language Learning

Foreign Language Tutoring – Spring 2026

Free tutoring for students enrolled in language courses: Chinese, French, German, Japanese and Spanish 101/102/203/204

Tutoring is conducted in the Student Resource Center in Thompson Hall 210 by Drop In only – see the schedule below, Tutoring is available for those students currently enrolled in the language classes of 101, 102, 203 and 204.

Our tutors want to help you achieve academic success by guiding you through assignments and assisting you with any questions you may have.  Tutors can help you with any area of Languages: listening, speaking, reading, writing, pronunciation, and grammar.

Notice

  • There will be no tutoring on WSU Holidays, nor the week of Spring Break (March 16 – March 20.)
  • Tutoring for Spring 2026 ends at 3 p.m. on Friday, May 1, the last day of classes.

No, you do not need to make an appointment to see a tutor,  The hours listed are drop-in hours during the specified days/times.

    11 a.m.–12 p.m.
    1–2 p.m.
  • Wednesday
    9–10 a.m.
  • Thursday
    11 a.m.–12 p.m.
    1–2 p.m.

French

  • Tuesday
    10 a.m.–12 p.m.
  • Wednesday:
    3–4 p.m.

German

Japanese

  • Tuesday
    1:30–3 p.m.
  • Thursday
    1:30–3 p.m.

Spanish

  • Monday
    12:15–1:15 p.m.
