School of Languages, Cultures, and Race College of Arts and Sciences

Kris Rollins(she/her)

I was born in San Francisco, but did a good portion of my growing up in Southern Idaho. I came up to the Palouse in 1993 to begin my college career at the University of Idaho. My field of study finally settled on Music Education. I married into the Cougar family after my husband graduated from WSU, and have more Cougar spirit than my alumnus husband, however, I’ll root for my Vandals on the occasions when they play against WSU. One of my 3 children attends WSU.  Another is planning on being a Cougar when he graduates high school. We have been in Pullman for over 20 years, and enjoy our life in this college town.

Having an affinity for learning different languages after four years of German, a year of Japanese, some Spanish, ASL, and bits and pieces of others, I am so excited to be working in the School of Languages, Cultures, and Race!
