Welcome!
We’re excited about our new school and all it offers to incoming and returning WSU students.
The new School of Languages, Cultures, and Race (SLCR) brings together students and faculty who are interested in a diverse array of academic areas and fields of inquiry. It builds upon existing strengths in Comparative Ethnic Studies; Foreign Languages and Cultures; Humanities; and Social Sciences, and provides additional benefits to students and faculty at all levels across WSU.
You can find information about our programs and degree options in the left navigation. We are now working to expand the information available online and will have more detailed web pages available in mid-July.
Meanwhile, you can explore more about courses in Comparative Ethnic Studies on the former CCGRS website and learn more about courses in former Department of Foreign Languages and Cultures on the former DFLC site.
And you can find out more about SLCR in the College of Arts & Sciences Story Hub.
